Pumpkin Patch

I am about to post way to many pictures of our fun at Ashland Berry Farm's Pumpkin patch. It was a great day and very beautiful... (apparently I have this pattern of only blogging in the fall... here is my attempt to start again...and hopefully never stop)

He was so excited to go!

 Waiting for the hay ride.

He did not want to touch the worm.

We did the 20 dollar pumpkin deal. And yes... Jon held all of those pumpkins and took three steps! Too bad I thought I was recording it and I wasn't. We were pretty excited when the guy charged the girl next to us 20 dollars for one pumpkin and we got 7! :)

Until next year :)

Thursday

one

that's right. my little boy turned one on christmas eve. we had a little party... well what i intended to be a little party... little did i know that everyone we invited (on christmas eve) came to his party... with the exception of a few people. it was great. that boy should never wonder if he is loved! we got all sorts of packages that week from my family in washington and hawaii. it was awesome to say the least.

i love my boy to the moon and back. he has taught me so much about myself and life in general in the past year. he can put a smile on anyone's face. he loves to dance, read books and bang things on the floor. he loves food and his blanky. (he loves food, except for tonight he refused everything i put in front of him with the exception of bananas and fruit loops :)) he loves his daddy so much and jon loves him too. those two have quite the relationship and are always up to something :) i love you little boy, and i can't (but really i can) wait to see you turn into the amazing young man i know you will be. ok enough of the cheesyness- but i totally put a disclaimer on the side bar so who cares:)

his birthday celebration with my family in washington.
my poor dad was sick but he was there!

he was quite startled when we all started singing :). and this mama got pretty choked up... don't know why...i guess I'm just a hormonal mama.

thanks Julia Bulia for taking the pictures! we sure miss you!

i had to snap this one...this picture represents my boy so well.
