1 year and counting!

I can't believe I have been married to this crazy man for a whole year!

It has been the best year of my life by far and I have him to thank for that.

Here are 10 things I love about Jon... 10, because I couldn't just come up with 1.

1. He is a giver. Always willing to give of himself to anyone.

2. He has the sexiest dance moves ever.... see picture below.

3. He never complains... about ANYTHING! This helps me remember to appreciate life more.

4. When he gets really excited about something.

5. He is a hard worker.
6. When he talks to the baby in my belly like they have been best friends forever.

7. His red-haired goatee... also seen below.

8. Everyone that knows him, loves him. He is friends with everyone.

9. He is passionate about things that matter to him.

10. He never gives up.

Finally, I love that he is already the best dad to our baby boy....okay so that was 11 but I'm gonna stop because I could go on and on forever.

I love you Jon! Thanks for a really awesome, fun, crazy, fast, silly, exciting, year. I can't wait for the next several (154 to be exact) years with you!

Saturday

34 weeks!

Dear Baby Boy!
You are already 18 inches long and you weigh 4 3/4 pounds! I can not wait to meet you in just six weeks. Then I can hold you and squeeze you and kiss you all over! You definitely like your space in my belly... and have pretty much taken it over! That is okay with me. It is fun to watch and feel you kick! I'm glad you do because it lets me know you are healthy and strong! We love you so much already!
Love
Mom & Dad too!

we are trying to get a picture with my belly too

not quite yet...

there we go!

Monday

our baby boy

This morning we got to go see our little boy!!! We are so excited to have him in our lives! we got to see him move all around and hear his little heart beat. We also witnessed a little nap he had. Poor little man is nameless but we are still working on it. I am so excited to start on the nursery and all Jon dreams about is teaching him to play ball. Jon is so happy to have another little guy around. We couldn't be happier to have this little boy be apart of our lives and for us to be apart of his! Enjoy the pictures!
Baby Dalton is in the 47th percentile for weight and is taller for his size.

Independence Day!!!

We celebrated the Fourth with a big group of friends in Idaho Falls. We arrived early and saved some spots for the firework show. In the meantime we played, ultimate Frisbee, Risk, hand and foot? (I think that's what it's called), nerts and enjoyed some free ice cream! Here are some pictures of the fun day and the awesome firework show! (wish I took more)

Thursday

Our Forever Family

I am a terrible blogger. Mostly because I just love to look at photographs and art and don't really care about words. But for the sake of keeping the Grandparents happy and for the sake of journaling/ recording our life happenings I am going to work on the word part too!

So to start off our little blog, Jon and I are expecting a little bean in December! We were a little shocked at first but we are more than thrilled to be starting our family. I can't wait to have a little pal to do so much with.... like grocery shopping! Jon hates it so I always go alone. I am also excited to capture all the fun moments on my camera. I warn the little baby every so often that they are just going to have to get used to it. Poor little baby, not even done cooking and I'm already threatening it with my camera.

Ok I think that is enough words for one post. Here is a wonderful video that has a good message I would love to hear every morning. Slow down.

P.S. To get the full effect of the video you have to pause the music at the bottom.
P.S.S. Our little peanut is the size of a navel orange and I am currently 15 weeks prego. :)
